ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly Tuesday consumed fifty-four percent of the sitting’s time on Points of Orders (POs).

These POs were mainly about construction of water dams in Kohistan, Insaaf Food Security Program and considering a Calling Attention Notice (CAN) in the upcoming sitting on Friday.

The sitting was marked by low attendance and interest of lawmakers as a total of 22 lawmakers (18%) were present at the start and 24 (19%) at the end of the sitting. The Speaker Asad Qaiser, Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and Leader of the Opposition Maulana Lutf ur Rehman were not present.

The House did not take up any question during Question Hour due to absence of the movers, leaving all eight Starred Questions lapsed.
